Painting Collections of Gear & Journaling for Outdoor Adventures
Workshop Summary: Join us for a beginners “collections” watercoloring course at Janky Gear in Rochester, Minnesota. In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn a series of creative skills including: how to use line, form, shape, and color to articulate your own unique artist’s voice, techniques in painting with watercolors, and how to capture a representational rendition of your environment in a “collections” journaling format. Paintings will be inspired by the gear at Janky Gear's shop. Learn how to use art as a tool for observation and creativity!
